As our friend Ermias would desire, we press on in our support of the great ministry work of our Ethiopian friends. A few updates about exciting things for 2018:

Ethiopian Impact Organization
We are in the process of forming a US-based organization called Ethiopian Impact that can provide structure as a fundraising arm to Youth Impact Ethiopia, based in Kentucky, but with partners all over the US. We are very excited to have this organizational support in place so we can keep our donors and partners updated on Youth Impact and provide trip opportunities to Ethiopia to see the work first hand.

Jess and Angela Correll went to Ethiopia in March and visited Ermias Zeleke’s grave along with seeing the ministry in action. “Ermias is sorely missed here, but the leadership transition is going well as Ermias identified his successors and mentored them well,” Angela reports.

Executive Director Position Opening
We have an opening for our part-time Executive Director for the Ethiopian Impact ministry organization that supports Youth Impact and other Ethiopian ministry partners. If you know of a highly detailed person who would be interested in this 10 hour/week position at our Wilmore, KY office, let them know so they can forward us their resume. Click here for more information.

2018 Ethiopia Trip
We are planning a trip to Ethiopia that is tentatively set for November 26 – December 5, 2018. This is a wonderful opportunity to have your life changed as you see the work of Youth Impact first-hand. Please let us know at [email protected] if you would like to receive future details about the trip.

Prayer requests
Please pray for Ethiopia as the country is currently in leadership transition. Please also pray for the leaders of Youth Impact as well as the young people. Remember Abraham and Salem as they continually navigate the challenges of living in Ethiopia.
