Vision Trip this Fall
Join us for a vision trip December 5-11, 2018 to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia as we visit the centers where Youth Impact work is happening through mentorship, tutoring, housing, life skill and character development, as well as spiritual training. Dan Lewis will lead the trip from the US and Abraham Fiseha will serve as our host on the ground. If you’re considering coming alongside Ethiopian Impact as a partner, this is an excellent way to experience the ministry in person. This will be a very intentional trip, therefore, there are limited slots available.

| Abraham Fiseha, co-founder of Youth Impact, and his wife Salem visited Kentucky in August. During their visit, they gave an update on the ministry happenings in Ethiopia, as well as rested and re-connected with long time supporters of their ministry. |

| REPORTS FROM HIWOTU AT YOUTH IMPACT |
| Youth Impact Graduates In July, three other children from the Joy Center and Impact Library Center of Youth Impact graduated from universities and colleges in different fields of studies. A graduation party was organized by Youth Impact to celebrate and congratulate the graduates, as well as encourage the other students in their academic endeavors. Youth Impact is thankful to the Milagros Foundation for supporting the students through their scholarship program. The Foundation is currently assisting six other students from Joy House, Impact Library and Shalom Center. Once the graduates find jobs, they will be moving out of the center and begin living independently. Pray for preparedness, good jobs, and a smooth transition into the new chapter of their lives. |
| Summer Programs Youth Impact provides special summer programs for students at different levels in its Shalom and Impact Library centers. The goal is to help our children spend their break in productive activities that help them prepare for the upcoming school year. Youth Impact college and university students provide all the services for the program on a volunteer basis. There was a colorful closing ceremony with children and their parents in our centers. In the ceremony, children presented different shows and demonstrated their talents. |

| 2018 is Coming to an End! Ethiopian Impact is funded entirely by donations. A generous donor has covered the organization’s operating expenses so that 100% of what you give goes directly to Youth Impact’s ministry work to provide housing for the street boys in Hope House, tutoring and character development in the Shalom Center, the resources for the Library that serves many kids in the neighborhood, and additionally helps 26 children with tutoring, lunch, and school uniforms.
